Graduated in Law from the Lusíada University of Lisbon, he was an advisor to the Portuguese Ombudsman between 1997 and 2000, later practising law at Abel de Andrade, Andrade Ramos e Associados, from where he left in 2007 to found Ascensão e Marques e Associados, then AMBA – Advogados, which subsequently merged into BRAM Legal – Advogados, from where he left to join PACT OREY DA CUNHA.

He has focused his practice mainly on labour law, with extensive experience in advising Portuguese and foreign companies in the areas of retail, IT and services, labour litigation in court and administrative litigation at the different supervisory bodies and Social Security.
